Isabelle Coelho-Marques is a South African-born Portuguese-American advocate, community leader and analyst at a financial NYC company. She is President of the New York Portuguese-American Leadership Conference (NYPALC), a consortium of 66 organizations representing approximately 180,000 Portuguese and Portuguese-Americans. Previously she was the Director of New York's oldest Portuguese language school and served as the Public Relations Director for the Portuguese-American Chamber of Commerce in Yonkers. In addition, she founded the annual New York State Portuguese-American Youth Conference. In 2015, Coelho-Marques was elected as an Advisor to the Portuguese government's Diaspora Advisory Council. Since then, she founded the NYPALC Women’s Network, the New York Portuguese-American Caucus and the NYPALC Entrepreneurship and Young Professionals platform.
