About the project

Portugal’s leading modern dance troupe Quorum Ballet presents an original piece based on the story of Aristides de Sousa Mendes, choreographed by Artistic Director Daniel Cardoso.

 

About the company

Quorum Ballet, founded in 2005, has produced over 50 pieces including choreographic work suitable for children and youth. Internationally the Company has toured extensively including to Denmark, the US (New York and Seattle), Poland, Singapore, Germany, Swiss, Macau, China, Spain, Serbia, Ecuador, Holland, Cyprus, Algeria, Romania, Finland and Thailand. Quorum Ballet has developed a partnership with the Vaganova Academy (Kirov Ballet School), San Petersburg, entitled “From Classical to Contemporary Ballet.” Quorum Ballet received the award for Best Contemporary Dance Company in the Portugal Dance Awards.
