About the Individual

Danièle CUISINIER, a French citizen, was in Bordeaux on June 22, 1940 and presumably obtained a visa under the authority of Aristides de Sousa Mendes.

She crossed into Portugal and sailed from Lisbon to New York on the ship Nea Hellas in September 1940.
