One of the SEGAL brothers received visa number 2474 from Aristides de Sousa Mendes in Bordeaux on June 20, 1940.
They crossed into Portugal, where they resided in Porto. In June 1941 they sailed from Lisbon to New York on the vessel Serpa Pinto.
