In 2012, while research her book, My Sister’s Eyes, Joan Halperin learned of Aristides de Sousa Mendes, his heroism and his connection to her family’s rescue from Nazi-occupied Europe.

Bring your own dairy bag lunch.  Dessert and beverages will be served.
