About the Individual

Natan BIDERMAN was living in Figueira da Foz, Portugal in July 1940 after having presumably received a visa from Aristides de Sousa Mendes.

From there he traveled to Jamaica, in the British West Indies, where he was held in a refugee camp called Camp Gibraltar. From there he flew to Miami, Florida in January of 1943.
