Minnie Harris, a British citizen, was in Lisbon in August 1940, presumably after receiving a visa from Aristides de Sousa Mendes.

She sailed to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on the vessel Serpa Pinto in August 1940 and continued to New York on the ship Uruguay in January 1942.
