About the Individual

Hildegard SPEKTOR resided in Portugal in the summer of 1940, first in Curia and then in Porto, presumably after having obtained a visa from Aristides de Sousa Mendes. She subsequently sailed on the vessel Nyassa from Lisbon to New York.
