About the Family
The TANNE family received their visas from Aristides de Sousa Mendes in Bordeaux on June 17, 1940.
They crossed into Portugal, where their third child, Mordecai/Mitchell TANNE was born. The family subsequently sailed on the ship Ciudad De Sevilla from Lisbon to New York in May 1941.
