About the Individual

Oskar TAUSIG, a Czech refugee from Belgium, resided in Lisbon in the summer of 1940, presumably after having obtained a visa from Aristides de Sousa Mendes.

He sailed on the vessel Nyassa from Lisbon to New York in November of 1940.
